About Christopher:

Sgt. Christopher Corbitt is a 30-year member of the Tallahassee (FL) Police Department and has been a sworn law enforcement officer for over 33 years.  After serving in various uniform and investigative positions, his last 21 years have focused on law enforcement technology, and he currently supervises the Department’s Technical Operations Unit.   He has received numerous awards and recognitions during his career including the Commanders’ and Chiefs’ award, Meritorious Service, Unit Citations, Productivity, and Disaster Response.  He was inducted into the Tallahassee Community College Heroes in Public Safety Hall of Fame in 2021.   He has nearly two thousand hours of technical training with most focused on cellular and mobile device technology.   He provides training nationwide to law enforcement officers, analysts and attorneys on subjects including cellular records analysis, location mapping, tracking and communication intercepts.   He has testified as an expert witness in the area of communication record analysis in over 120 legal proceedings.
